Tays Cancer Centre
The Tays Cancer Centre combines cancer treatment and research at the University Hospital across the boundaries of its domains, as well as cancer research and the training of professionals in the field at the University of Tampere. Tays Cancer Center operates under both the wellbeing services county of Pirkanmaa and the Tampere University, and covers cancer treatment and research carried out in these organisations.
Tays Cancer Centre is internationally accredited (OECI Cancer Centre 2019, reaccreditation ongoing) and participates in several international networks promoting cancer treatment and research, such as OECI (Organisation of European Cancer Institutes) and DigiCore.
