Tays Cancer Centre has a Scientific Working Group whose specialists contribute to the development of the operations and assist the Steering Group in its tasks. Tays Cancer Centre shares a Scientific Working Group with the larger regional cancer centre, FICAN Mid.
The responsibilities of the Scientific Working Group include:
- defining the aims of scientific activities
- evaluating the reaching of goals as well as the amount and quality of conducted research
- composing reports related to scientific research
